A-Score Terms of Service (United States)
Last updated: April 24, 2026 Version: 2.2 Effective Date: May 24, 2026 for existing users; immediately for new users where permitted by law
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the A-Score mobile application and related services provided by Ascore Corp ("A-Score," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The service is intended for use only in the United States.
2. Who We Are
A-Score provides tools to help you document, track, discover, showcase, and mutually acknowledge user-created records, profiles, services, ads, assets, and transactions. A-Score is a record-keeping, discovery, profile, and mutual-acknowledgment platform.
We are not a law firm, lender, money transmitter, escrow provider, payment processor for user-to-user obligations, debt collector, credit repair organization, consumer reporting agency, investment adviser, insurance adviser, tax adviser, real estate broker, title company, probate authority, financial institution, or marketplace operator.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- The app is for U.S. users only. You may not use it if you are located in or ordinarily resident of a country embargoed by the United States or on any U.S. sanctions list.
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Enable device security controls and multi-factor authentication where offered.
4. Platform Role and Disclaimers
- Not a party to your agreements. A-Score does not participate in, guarantee, or enforce any agreement between users.
- Records, not A-Score legal drafting. Documents, PDFs, templates, summaries, schedules, acknowledgment logs, and exports are records of user-entered information and platform activity. They are not legal documents drafted, reviewed, prepared, or approved by A-Score.
- No legal or professional advice. A-Score does not provide legal, tax, financial, credit, investment, insurance, medical, real estate, probate, title-transfer, or other professional advice. Consult a licensed professional for advice on your specific situation.
- No money movement. We do not move, hold, collect, pool, reserve, transmit, settle, disburse, escrow, or process money for user-to-user obligations. Any amount, schedule, credit, balance, or recorded update shown in the service is a user-entered or platform-accounting reference only, not proof that money moved.
- No verification. We do not verify user identities (beyond any optional checks you complete), ownership of assets, liens, property condition, or counterparties' authority.
- No enforceability determination. We do not determine whether a record, acknowledgment, template, transaction, note, or export is valid, binding, enforceable, complete, properly executed, or compliant with the laws of any jurisdiction.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for: (a) verifying counterparties, (b) ensuring any document, ad, service, asset, transaction, record, or template complies with applicable law, (c) obtaining necessary consents, permissions, licenses, professional approvals, and third-party rights, (d) maintaining your own records and backups, (e) handling taxes, registrations, and filings (including for property or asset transfers), and (f) deciding whether to consult a licensed professional.
6. User Content and License
You retain ownership of content you submit (including agreements, attachments, and messages). You grant A-Score a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, modify, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to share the content and that it does not infringe others' rights or violate law.
7. Acceptable Use
You will not: (a) use the app for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes; (b) upload malware or attempt to disrupt or bypass security; (c) infringe intellectual property or privacy rights; (d) send spam or harassing content; (e) misrepresent your identity or affiliation; (f) reverse engineer or scrape the service except as allowed by law; (g) use the service to offer or arrange loans, lending, cash advances, payday products, debt relief, credit repair, investment returns, crypto custody, insurance products, medical or clinical services, legal services, tax services, escrow, pooled funds, money transmission, or regulated professional advice unless A-Score expressly supports that feature in writing; (h) upload bank account numbers, full routing numbers, private keys, seed phrases, passwords, login credentials, or similar secrets; or (i) claim that A-Score verifies, guarantees, endorses, or legally approves your content, services, ads, records, assets, transactions, or templates. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations and may block, remove, archive, or convert unsupported content to a private note where appropriate.
8. Transactions, Documents, PDFs, Templates, and Disclaimers
- Exported records. Generated PDFs and other exports are retainable, reproducible records of terms, notes, files, schedules, and acknowledgments entered or accepted by users in A-Score. They are not contracts, legal agreements, legal instruments, attorney-prepared documents, payment receipts, settlement records, escrow records, or proof that A-Score collected, held, transmitted, settled, disbursed, or processed money.
- Document generation. Outputs may not meet jurisdiction-specific requirements (for example, notarization, witnesses, mandated clauses, filing, recording, disclosure, paper delivery, or other execution requirements).
- External schedules and recorded updates. Schedules, milestones, amounts, fulfillment records, and recorded updates are user-entered external references. They do not mean that A-Score collected payment, processed payment, confirmed payment, calculated default, enforced collection, settled an account, or completed a transaction.
- Property use and rentals. Records are not legal leases. A-Score does not collect rent, hold deposits, verify habitability, manage property, transfer property rights, or provide landlord-tenant advice. You must comply with landlord-tenant, fair housing, local licensing, and property laws.
- Asset exchanges and sales. Internal records do not transfer legal title. A-Score does not verify ownership, liens, condition, valuation, authority to sell, transfer requirements, taxes, or filings. Vehicle, real estate, intellectual property, business, and other regulated transfers may require additional documents, registrations, DMV filings, deeds, bills of sale, recordings, tax filings, or professional review.
- Estate planning and wills. Any Will, estate planning, beneficiary, executor, or asset allocation feature is for planning notes and recordkeeping only. It is not a legal will, not valid for probate, does not appoint an executor or trustee, does not satisfy witness or notarization requirements, and does not replace a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
- Legacy and unsupported records. Loan, debt, financial, crypto, investment, insurance, legal, tax, medical, escrow, money movement, or other high-risk legacy records or categories may be blocked, hidden, archived, made read-only, excluded from exports, or unsupported in active workflows.
- Templates and platform copy. Terms templates, service templates, suggested labels, summaries, and generated section headings are productivity tools and policy-controlled starting points. They are not legal advice, attorney-prepared language, professional drafting, or a guarantee that a record is appropriate, enforceable, complete, or lawful.
- Evidence and records. Maintain your own copies of important documents outside the app.
9. Payments, Subscriptions, and Credits
Paid features, subscriptions, and campaign credits may be billed through app stores or Stripe. Prices, taxes, and availability may change. Subscriptions may auto-renew until you cancel in your store account or through provided controls; cancellations typically apply to the next billing period. Unless required by law, fees and credits are non-refundable. Promotional credits have no cash value and are non-transferable.
Campaign credits, reserved credits, and promotional credits are limited-use credits for A-Score digital advertising or platform features. They are not cash, stored value, deposits, wallet funds, escrowed funds, user funds held for payout, gift cards, bank balances, payment accounts, or money transmission services.

11. Service Changes and Availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. The service may experience outages or delays. Beta or preview features may be unstable and can be changed or removed without notice.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud or abuse, or risk to the service or others. You may stop using the app at any time and request account deletion through provided channels. Some information may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy and as required by law.
13. Intellectual Property
A-Score owns the service, software, and brand assets. Except for the limited rights granted to you to use the app, we reserve all rights. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use feedback you provide to improve the service.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE WITHOUT INTERRUPTION.
15. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER A-SCORE NOR ITS AFFILIATES OR SUPPLIERS WILL BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold A-Score harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or law.
17. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Binding Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to the service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Delaware in English.
Class Action Waiver
You and A-Score waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in class actions or class arbitrations. Any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Small Claims Exception
Either party may seek relief in small claims court for eligible disputes within the court's jurisdiction.
Arbitration Opt-Out
You may opt out of the arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@myascore.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, mailing address, email address associated with your A-Score account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of this arbitration agreement. If you opt out, you and A-Score agree to resolve disputes in state or federal court in Delaware, and you and A-Score each consent to personal jurisdiction in Delaware.
18. Export and Sanctions Compliance
You may not use or export the service in violation of U.S. export control or sanctions laws, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce. You represent that you are not: (a) located in, or a resident or national of, any country subject to U.S. government embargo (currently Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions); or (b) on any U.S. government denied-party or sanctions list, including the Treasury Department's List of Specially Designated Nationals or the Commerce Department's Entity List.
19. Notices
We may provide notices through the app, by email, or within your account. You should keep your contact information current. You can contact us at:

20. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide notice through the app or by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
21. Credit Education Disclaimer (FCRA Notice)
A-SCORE IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY
Not a Credit Bureau or CRA
A-Score is not a consumer reporting agency ("CRA") as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. ("FCRA"), and the Service does not provide "consumer reports" as defined by the FCRA.
Educational Nature of the Service
The scores, analyses, recommendations, simulations, and other information provided through the A-Score application are:
- Educational and informational only – designed to help you understand general credit concepts and track your personal financial goals
- Not official credit scores – not obtained from Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, FICO, VantageScore, or any consumer reporting agency
- Based on user-provided information – generated from data you voluntarily enter, not from credit bureau data
- Not suitable for credit decisions – not intended to be used by you, lenders, employers, landlords, or any other party for making credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or other decisions governed by the FCRA
What A-Score Does NOT Do
A-Score does not:
- Access, pull, or retrieve credit reports or credit scores from any credit bureau
- Report any information to credit bureaus or furnish data used for credit decisions
- Provide credit repair services as defined by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)
- Guarantee any specific improvement in your actual credit score or creditworthiness
- Provide legal, financial, or tax advice
Your Responsibility
You understand and agree that:
- Any scores or analyses in A-Score are illustrative and educational only
- Your actual credit scores from the major credit bureaus may differ significantly from any estimates shown in A-Score
- You should obtain your official credit reports and scores directly from Equifax, Experian, TransUnion, or through AnnualCreditReport.com
- A-Score is not a substitute for professional financial, legal, or credit counseling advice
No FCRA Obligations
Because A-Score is not a CRA and does not provide consumer reports:
- We have no obligation to provide FCRA-mandated disclosures or adverse action notices
- We are not subject to FCRA accuracy, dispute resolution, or reinvestigation requirements
- Information in A-Score should not be used for any "permissible purpose" under the FCRA
22. General Provisions

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by A-Score.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder, in whole or in part, by operation of law or otherwise, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms and our rights and obligations hereunder at any time without notice or consent. No Third-Party Beneficiaries
These Terms do not confer any third-party beneficiary rights. No person or entity not a party to these Terms will have any right to enforce any provision of these Terms.
